You can add a tone control to the piezo circuit, as shown in the user&apos;s guide. You can&apos;t add a master tone pot just before the output jack. The Acousti-Phonic doesn&apos;t tolerate having anything between the board and the output jack because it interferes with the sensor that detects whether the patch cord inserted is stereo or mono.
